Pancake Tuesday celebrates the beginning of the preparation for Easter.

Get a team of 6 people together and give your team a name (or just come down and we will place you in a team) or enter your team by phoning  9677036 or leave a message on the St.Mary’s answerphone 3383598  or e-mail your entry to ajhud@clear.net.nz.

The pancake race means that your team members will walk/run twice over a short – course tossing a pancake at marker points. There will be heats and final races. Pancakes and frying pans will be provided. Spectators also welcome. There will be a special prize for the best dressed team and the Beth Hodgson Cup will go to the winning team.

The race will be followed by pancakes in the church grounds. So bring a picnic tea or just enjoy the pancakes (fillings will be available). If wet weather we will share the food inside the church.
